The long summer break should be about picnics and paddling pools, but with the weather keeping the kids inside, has your holiday been less about swing ball and more about finding the room to swing a cat? Has your stay-cation made you realise your house is bursting at the seams? If you need more space and fast, then Taylor Wimpey Bristol can help.

The housebuilder is now offering part exchange on selected properties at its Weavers Gate development in the Melksham.

Richard Goad, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “If you’ve decided to move and want to do it quickly, or perhaps your home has been on the market for a while, our Part Exchange scheme can help you move into a brand new home without the hassle of selling your old one. We make the process easier and quicker and when you buy a new home in our Part Exchange scheme, we’ll buy your existing property at 100% of its market value so you don’t comprimise on price either.

“So if your kids have outgrown your existing home come and talk to the team at Weavers Gate about part exchange and we can get you moving.”

The Taylor Wimpey Part Exchange Scheme instructs a minimum of two independent selling agents to value the anticipated selling price of your property so you know your home has sold for a fair and realistic price. The scheme also eliminates the cost of estate agents fees, takes away the hassle of viewings and chasing solicitors and removes the worry of buyers changing their minds and risk of chains collapsing.

Currently available with Part Exhange at Weavers Gate is the five bedroom Stanton, priced at £284,995. With space split over three floors it is the perfect home for a growing family. Located on the ground floor is a spacious kitchen/ dining area with French doors opening onto the rear garden, a living room, separate study or play room and a downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor are three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with en-suite facilitites and a family bathroom. The top floor has two further bedrooms, both with dormer windows and a second family bathroom.

Properties are also available at Weavers Gate under NewBuy, the government and housebuilder-backed scheme aimed at increasing the availability of low deposit mortgages.

The initiative, available on brand new properties up to the value of £500,000, means credit-worthy first time buyers may now only need to save a 5% deposit before they can get on the property ladder. Home movers with limited equity in their existing house will also benefit from the increase in availability of 95% loan to value mortgages.

Set amoungst the stunning Wiltshire countryside, Weavers Gate offers the best of both town and contry living with Melksham town centre less than two miles from the development. Melksham offers a wide variety of amenities including shops, local pubs, a chemist and supermarkets.
