Epic Pass – Verbier signs partnership agreement with Vail (USA)!
Verbier 4Vallées has signed a new partnership agreement with VAIL (USA). From this winter onwards, holders of 4Vallées season passes will be entitled to three ski days (at any time) in Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Arapahoe Basin (USA). Under the same arrangement, holders of season passes from these resorts will be entitled to three free ski days in the 4Vallées region. Under the terms of this agreement, Verbier 4Vallées is now part of the famous Epic Pass.

Swatch Freeride World Tour, Freeskiing World Tour and the North Face Masters of Snowboarding merge – The Final Remains In Verbier!
The organisers of the Swatch Freeride World Tour, Freeskiing World Tour and The North Face Masters of Snowboarding have announced that the three tours have been combined to form a single global 5-star competition. Entitled the Swatch Freeride World Tour By North Face, the tour will consist of six main legs. Verbier Cinema to re-open on December 1!
Good news for all cinema lovers – after a two year closure, the awesome Cinéma de Verbier is opening again! Equipped with new digital projector material, the cinema will be offering a programme in French and VO for big and small alike. This historic, 60 year old location in the centre of Verbier can accommodate more than 400 people.

Mechanical snow-making reinforced across the Verbier region
Work on mechanical snow-making on the so-called Le Rouge area will begin as soon as the golf course closes, sometime at the end of October. New poles will be installed from the end of the FIS ski-run to the bottom of Le Rouge. The whole thing should be operational in time for the beginning of winter.

Concerned with pleasing its clientele, La Vallée hotel is developing a whole new wellness space, complete with hammam, sauna, rest and massage rooms, as well as a Bio Jacuzzi outside the building. Skating rink in the town square
From winter 2012-13, the newly renovated town square at La Tzoumaz will be home to an artificial skating rink that will be open every day during the season. It will also be lit up at night with music providing a great atmosphere. Major Projects Underway
Les Trois Rocs – First W in the mountains!
Les Trois Rocs, a large project, is gradually becoming part of Verbier’s skyline, just a step away from Médran station. The private apartments available are complete and have already been sold.
As a reminder, the Trois Rocs complex consists of a “W” hotel (the first of its kind in the mountains anywhere in the world), private apartments, a spa and wellness centre, a gourmet restaurant, a club and a shopping mall. The Place Blanche at the foot of the ski runs will be a large, social, new pedestrian zone.

Sports Centre project in Verbier
The Verbier Sports Centre is to be completely renovated and extended. The renovation and extension project has been presented to the public. In addition to the creation of a play area for families and a wellness centre, the new formula sports Centre will have a curling rink and a multi-sport hall.
Building work begins: Autumn 2012
Building work ends: Winter 2015 (the Sports Centre will remain open partially during the building work).
