New Annapurna Trekking adventure to Nepal for 2013

15th November 2012 Print

Enjoy a variety of walks in the beautiful mountain scenery of Nepal – taking in the ancient cities of the Kathmandu Valley, the massive Annapurna mountains and a distinctive mountain culture – on a new 17-day Annapurna Trekking adventure courtesy of HF Holidays.

Highlights include a fully supported trek through the Annapurna Conservation Area following the Siklis trek (and avoiding the main trekking routes) which combines a superb introduction to rural Nepali life – taking in traditional Nepali villages and the Gurung settlement of Siklis – with amazing panoramas of the Annapurna Range all along the way.

Other highlights of the holiday include exploring Nepal’s historic centres of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur as well as walking in the scenic Pokhara Valley.  There are also visits to the Shivapuri National Park and typical Tamang villages in the heart of traditional Nepal along with the opportunity to watch sunrise over the Himalayas.

Available on selected dates in 2013, the cost is from £1795 per person, land-only or from £2495 inclusive of return Heathrow flights and transfers.

These twin-share prices also include 16 nights’ full board accommodation – nine in hotels and comfortable mountain lodges, six in well-equipped camps – the full programme of guided walks led by local guides and an HF Holidays’ leader, sightseeing, entrance fees, internal flights and coach travel, plus the services of the fully supported trek team with cooks, porters and expert leaders.
