Discover Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains

Specialist Morocco is offering a choice of free activities and excursions on all three-night bookings to Marrakech made online at riadafrica.co.uk before the end of November 2012.

The free activities are available on all travel between November and the end of February 2013 (with the exception of Christmas and New Year).

The choice of activities and excursions are:

Ourika Valley day trip

The Ourika Valley is easily reached from Marrakech. Travel is in a private 4X4 vehicle with a driver and guide, exploring Berber villages, far away from the usual tourist spots, exploring local trails on foot.

Toubkal National Park in the Atlas Mountains day trip

The spectacular Atlas Mountain range – home to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at over 4000m – is less than an hour’s drive from Marrakech. The excursion includes lunch in a Berber village house.

Quad biking adventure half day trip

Escape the chaos of the souks for a half-day quad biking adventure, providing the chance to experience the beautiful and contrasting landscapes around the palm groves and the River Tensift. A genuine off-the-beaten-track experience supervised and operated by an expert local company.

Accommodation for the break is in the newly renovated, British-owned and run, Riad Africa, which is fast gaining a reputation as one of the smartest and best value riads in the entire Medina.

The riad has nine individually furnished rooms and suites, one of the largest plunge pools in the old city, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the main square.

The three-night break costs from £149 pp (B&B, two sharing a room) and one excursion per person (does not include flights).
