Charles Church homes in on plans for Oakham

A prestigious regional housebuilder has pledged to deliver much-needed housing to the thriving market town of Oakham.

Peterborough-based Charles Church East Midlands has submitted a planning application to Oakham Town Council to create an attractive and sustainable neighbourhood comprising of 144 properties.

Adrian Evans, managing director for Charles Church East Midlands, said: “Our proposal will create a range of well-designed homes, with a mixture of three, four, five bedroom private units and two, three and four affordable units.

“The application for the proposed development named Oakham North will bring considerable investment to the town as well as benefiting the local community with a diverse range of house types.
