MyToyota: The new, easy way to manage your Toyota on-line

Toyota’s already making good use of the web to connect with customers and generate interest in and support for its business and its vehicles through its popular blog, Twitter feed and other social media channels, as well as its prime consumer site. Now MyToyota adds another dimension to its on-line activity, a new way for Toyota owners to manage their vehicle.

It’s a rational and simple-to-use customer portal that serves as a one-stop resource for keeping up-to-date with your vehicle’s history. It will also provide automatic reminders for key dates, such as servicing and MoT testing, by text or email – more effective than scribbled notes stuck on the fridge door.

Users can select their preferred Toyota Centre and gain quicker access to Toyota’s on-line service booking system. Recognising each vehicle through its registration number, MyToyota will present its specification and its full service history. It will also indicate which accessories are available if owners want to upgrade their car.

Signing up is free. All new Toyota owners will be introduced to MyToyota when purchasing their vehicle and existing owners can also make use of the site, which can be accessed via toyota.co.uk/mytoyota. Where there’s more than one Toyota in the household, multiple vehicles can be registered to the same user account.

Registration also brings Toyota Rewards: regular offers and discounts specifically for Toyota owners, provided by well-known partner businesses such as Virgin Holidays, Ticketmaster and Superbreak.
