FirstBuy could make your dream home a reality

Are you hoping to purchase a brand new home but struggling to save up for that hefty deposit? Why not head down to Taylor Wimpey’s The Brambles development in Denmead where purchasing your new home could be easier than you think.

The housebuilder is now offering FirstBuy on its recently released two bedroom maisonette Willow house type and on the two bedroom Coach House. Both properties are stylish and practical, making them the perfect fit for first time buyers.

The Willow is priced at £180,000 but with FirstBuy scheme is now available with a mortgage of £135,000 and a deposit of only £9,000, while the Coach House, priced at £200,000 is available using FirstBuy for a deposit of just £10,000 and a mortgage of £150,000.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage. The loan is repayable at the end of the mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first time buyers and the total household earning should be less than £60,000.

The Brambles enjoys an enviable setting in the heart of the rural village of Denmead, on the edge of Waterlooville. The development benefits from beautiful surroundings with plentiful green open spaces and picturesque country lanes to explore, while still being within easy reach of local amenities.
