A brand new sales village is coming soon from Taylor Wimpey at Cambourne – offering prospective purchasers the chance to choose their new home in a stylish and sustainable environment.

Special care and attention has gone into the design of the sales village to ensure it showcases the best ways for homebuyers to get the most out of their new property at Cambourne with the leading housebuilder’s range of energy-efficient Options.

Four stunning new showhomes and a Sales Information Centre will open at the sales village on 23rd February, and will be equipped with eco-friendly finishing features to provide aspiring purchasers with a glimpse of the ‘good life’ available with a typical Taylor Wimpey at Cambourne home.

Caroline Carter, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, says: “More and more of us are concerned about the impact our lives make on the environment – as well as the soaring costs of our regular utility bills. That’s why we’re always looking for ways to make our high-quality homes even more efficient for our customers.

“Each of our stylish new showhomes presents this ethos in an inspiring manner to give homebuyers the chance to experience what they can achieve with their own new property in Cambourne.”

Sustainable flooring, environmentally friendly paint, super-efficient appliances, LED downlighters, smart meters, solar panels, bird/bat/insect boxes and raised vegetable beds are just some of the green Options available with new homes from Taylor Wimpey at Cambourne – with several of these features incorporated into the soon-to-be-released three, four and five-bedroom showhomes.

There’s a selection of family-size homes currently on sale at Taylor Wimpey’s Dukes Park development in Cambourne, including three-bedroom houses from as little as £204,995, four-bedroom homes from only £259,995 and five-bedroom properties from £309,995.

All homes at the developments are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Cambourne’s impressive range of local amenities includes three primary schools and a nursery, with a secondary school due to open in 2013, plus a library, playing fields and play areas, a multi-denominational church and a medical centre.

The community is also home to a selection of high street shops, a supermarket with petrol station, a choice of restaurants, a pharmacy, a dry-cleaners and a coffee shop, while an exceptional range of amenities can be found in Cambridge’s shopping districts and centres which are just nine miles away.

An impressive array of sports and leisure facilities are available at Camboune’s new sports and fitness centre and the Cambridge Belfry Hotel, which is just a short walk from the development.

For commuters, the A14 is a short drive from the new community, with the M11 also within easy reach. St Neots railway station is seven miles from Upper Cambourne, putting the capital just an hour away by train.
