Specialist tailor-made operator Chameleon Worldwide has stepped into Latin America with 13 exciting new itineraries to Ecuador & the Galapagos, Costa Rica, Colombia and Peru.

Comments Mark Wright, Founder of Chameleon Worldwide: “My recent trip to Colombia really re-ignited my love for all things Latin America. Consequently we have added three more countries, with a total of 13 really great, colourful itineraries, and at very competitive prices, which we have managed by working with excellent suppliers that we have known for many years.”

Inca Ruins & Tropical Rainforest – 11 days in Peru

The perfect itinerary for first time visitors to Peru who want to cram in as many of the highlights as possible! Top of the list is of course Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley where you can walk, bike or raft. Also included is a stay in a jungle lodge to explore the rainforest looking out for indigenous bird and wildlife, plus the Larco museum in the capital, Lima. The trip is also easy to combine with Ecuador, Costa Rica or Colombia.

Costa Rica from Coast to Coast – 13 days

Known as the Switzerland of the Americas and flanked by the Caribbean Sea on one coast and the Pacific Ocean on the other, this itinerary traverses the country taking in the spectacular rainforest, diverse, volcanic scenery, and abundant wildlife including the famous turtles in Tortuguero NP and 10% of the World’s butterfly population. In addition to the better known highlights, also included is Rincon de la Vieja, a less visited but fascinating part of the country.

A Galapagos & Amazon Adventure – 16 days

This itinerary has been put together by the Chameleon experts based on years of travelling to the region. The holiday covers the best of Ecuadorian culture mixed with six nights exploring the Galapagos, staying on three different islands with activities including walking, cycling, canoeing and snorkelling. The wildlife is spectacular with sea lions, giant tortoises, marine iguanas and a huge amount more. A four night trip into the Amazon is included visiting the remote Huaorani community with a chance to camp for a night in the jungle.

Highlights of Colombia – 14 days

Hotly tipped by Chameleon Worldwide Founder Mark Wright as Latin America’s ‘next big thing’, it is difficult to take in all Colombia has to offer in one trip. This itinerary is an excellent starting place and highlights include Bogota's Gold Museum and the historic La Candelaria district of the city, seeing how coffee is produced, the giant wax palm trees in Valle de Cocora, Tayrona National Park and the stunning coastline of Tayrona.

All prices listed include international flights, land transportation, accommodation, activities as detailed on the itineraries and some meals. All excursions are accompanied by knowledgeable local guides.
