Hampshire property-seekers in search of their ideal home in a superb location must act quickly to take advantage of today’s great-value prices at The Romans at Augusta Park, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development in Andover.

The leading housebuilder has frozen the prices of the stylish selection of properties at this prestigious development, which benefits from idyllic countryside views – but only until the opening of the brand new showhomes in May.

It means time is running out for would-be buyers to secure their choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes from as little as £175,000.

What’s more, the new Government Help to Buy shared equity scheme is now available at the popular development, enabling first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure their new home for 80% of its full price, including a
5% deposit.

The four-bedroom ‘Shelford’ detached house at The Romans at Augusta Park, for example, can be secured under Help to Buy for an 80% shared equity price of just £240,000 (full price £300,000), including a 5% deposit as low as
£15,000!

Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re rewarding savvy home-hunters with special pre-showhome prices at The Romans at Augusta Park – but aspiring purchasers will have to be quick because these fantastic deals are only available until the showhomes launch in May.

“Customers who secure their property off-plan at the earliest possible stage don’t just get their pick of the plots, but they also benefit from today’s low prices which are guaranteed from the moment of reservation until they
make their move – even if the price of similar properties increases in the meantime.

“Visitors to The Romans at Augusta Park can also find out how the Help to Buy scheme makes a huge difference to both first and second-time buyers who can afford the monthly repayments on a mortgage but not the hefty deposit.”

There’s a stunning selection of homes currently ready to reserve now at The Romans at Augusta Park, including two-bedroom coach houses priced from just £175,000, three-bedroom houses from only £200,000, and four-bedroom detached properties from £300,000.

All new homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme involves a Government loan of 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

Meanwhile, the NewBuy scheme lets credit-worthy first-time buyers and current homeowners purchase their ideal Taylor Wimpey home with a 95% mortgage.

The Romans at Augusta Park enjoys a prime position to the north of Andover town centre, with a new primary school, community centre, sports hall and playing fields to be constructed alongside the homes.

Andover railway station is a short distance away, for regular services to Salisbury, Basingstoke and London Waterloo, while the M3 and M4 are each within 20 miles.

To find out more about the homes at The Romans at Augusta Park, property-seekers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located in Smannell Lane, Andover, and open daily between 10am and 5pm. Alternatively, log on to taylorwimpey.co.uk/westlondon.
