Time is running out for home-hunters hoping to secure one of the final properties available at Castlemead, Taylor Wimpey’s near-sell out development in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire.

Just seven superb properties remain up for grabs – including the fabulous three-bedroom ‘Denham’ link-detached house and the stylish four-bedroom ‘Leighton’ detached home.

Each of these properties can be secured by eligible customers under the Government’s Help to Buy shared equity scheme for just 80% of their full price – including a 5% deposit as low as £13,500!

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our high-quality homes at Castlemead have attracted lots of attention from local property-seekers.

“Anyone hoping to secure one of the final homes on sale from this collection – like the ‘Denham’ or the ‘Leighton’ – should contact us before someone else beats them to it!”

Help to Buy involves a Government loan of 20% being provided to eligible purchasers on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for customers using the scheme and it is available to both first-time buyers and existing homeowners.

The three-bedroom ‘Denham’ is priced from just £270,000 (80% Help to Buy price from £216,000) and features a spacious kitchen/dining room with utility area, a generous lounge and a guest cloakroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms, one of which could be used as a home office or nursery, and a main bathroom, while a private rear garden, a garage and one allocated parking space are located outside.

Meanwhile, the four-bedroom ‘Leighton’ is priced from £450,000 (80% Help to Buy price from £360,000) and features a kitchen and lounge, each opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a separate dining room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Two en-suite bedrooms can be accessed from the first-floor landing, along with a home office, while two further double bedrooms and a main bathroom are located on the top floor. Outside, the property benefits from a garage and driveway parking for two cars.

Alternatively, the four-bedroom ‘Horton’ and ‘Kensworth’ properties are available now at Castlemead, priced from £385,000 and £410,000 respectively, and the five-bedroom ‘Marsworth’ home is priced at £525,000.

All new homes at the development are completed to the same high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchens with integrated oven hob and hood.
Castlemead enjoys a convenient location in Pitstone, within easy reach of a pre-school, sports clubs and activities for youngsters.

Parents will appreciate the selection of good schools within the local area, including a primary school a mile from the development and secondary schools in the market town of Tring, just three miles away.

For commuters, the M25 is 20 miles away and the M1 is within a 10-mile drive of home, while Tring railway station provides services to London Euston in 45 minutes.

To stand the best chance of securing one of the final new homes at Castlemead, property-seekers should visit the Sales Centre, located at 2 Harlech Road, off Westfield Road, Pitstone, Buckinghamshire, LU7 9GT, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm).
