islands, while Hammerfest, 'the world's northernmost town', and Tromsø are good alternatives for those preferring a more 'urban' setting.
Tee off into the night
Make the most of the day-long sun, and enjoy what nature has to offer. What about teeing off under the midnight sun at the world's northernmost 18-hole golf course? Or joining the world's northernmost marathon arranged every year in Tromsø, The Midnight Marathon, where runners from around the world meet to compete at night, in broad daylight.
