A sensational location and premium quality specification mean new Redrow homes are attracting keen interest from purchasers, according to agents appointed to market the properties at Lymington Shores.

Redrow has teamed up with John D Wood & Co and Sotheby’s UK to promote the exclusive south coast development in the Georgian marketing town and upmarket yachting haven of Lymington.

Both companies are part of the Countrywide network of estate agents and between them have already introduced 50% of customers to Redrow at Lymington Shores.

Adam Smith, sales manager for Countrywide Land and New Homes, said: “Lymington Shores enjoys a sensational location on the water’s edge with views of the Isle of Wight from many of the high specification properties. We’re confident it will become a destination to live in one of the finest addresses on the south coast offering discerning buyers a choice of premium quality apartments, duplexes, penthouses and villas.”

Redrow sales consultant Lucy Ludlow is currently based in the John D Wood & Co office in Lymington, giving the developer a sales presence in the town ahead of the sales office opening on site in the summer.

“The showcasing of Lymington Shores within the John D Wood & Co’s local office along with John D Wood & Co and Sotheby’s UK national & international database of clients, enables Redrow to promote the development through external marketing and in-house publications. This gives them direct access to a client base that has taken many years to build. Most importantly, John D Wood & Co and Sotheby’s UK regularly deal with exclusive properties such as those at Lymington Shores,” Adam said.

A series of successful pre-launch events have been held to give buyers an insight into what to expect at the prestigious development.

“Lymington Shores has been a real talking point for some time and is generating positive feedback now that the homes are on sale,” Adam added.

“The development is proving popular, attracting enquiries predominantly from London, the Home Counties and locally, as well as the Midlands and the North. The majority of enquiries have been from those with links to the sailing community consisting of downsizers, second home buyers, investors, families and first time buyers.”

The varied purchaser profile is due in large part to the good range of properties, as there’s a choice apartments with one, two or three bedrooms, two-bedroom duplexes plus four and five-bedroom detached villas.

Initial prices range from £350,000 to £1.9 million with each property boasting a premium quality specification befitting of the location.

Along with the luxurious new homes, there will also be a jetty with pontoons and riverside walkways, five retail units, plus a new footbridge over the railway to connect home owners to the nearby town centre.
