Mitsubishi promotes the brand’s quality with new TV campaign

Mitsubishi Shogun Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has announced a new heavy-weight TV advertising campaign to feature two 30-second commercials on air from Thursday 28th February.

The aim of the campaign is to inform the public that Mitsubishi has renewed all of its models in recent years and to encourage them to come to a dealer for a test drive. Accordingly, the commercials ask the question “Have you driven a Mitsubishi lately?”

Featured in the 4x4 range advertisement:

A Cosmos Black L200 Diamond is set in a working commercial environment complete with a fullbox load area cover, chrome sidesteps, chrome rear pipe and off road tyres. The vehicle is noted as the winner of the What Van? “Pick-up of the Year” award for 2007.

An Orient Red Shogun Diamond long wheelbase is poised purposefully on a rocky incline to emphasise the brand’s legendary off-road credentials, and

A Thunder Blue Outlander Diamond set against a snowy forest backdrop and highlights the fact that Outlander’s 2.0 litre diesel engine makes it the lowest CO2 emitting 7-seat 4x4 available.

Featured in the passenger car range advertisement:

An Oriental Orange Colt CZC2 Coupe Cabriolet is set in slowly falling blossom and highlights that a brand new Colt convertible is available for just £9,999.

An Atlantis Blue Colt CZ3 3-door is set in leafy woodland and notes that Mitsubishi’s legendary quality is available in the Colt range for less than £7,000.

An Orient Red Lancer GS4 4-door saloon, with fireworks exploding in the background brings emphasis to the new vehicle’s great looks and sporting pedigree – all available for less than £15,000.

Jim Tyrrell, Mitsubishi’s UK Managing Director, stated that “Our entire vehicle range is stronger than ever before and it deserves greater exposure and profile via the TV”, going on the say that, “the all-new Lancer and Lancer Evolution X have topped off a range with so many product attributes and unique sales messages that we felt it was worthwhile featuring the whole range in this campaign”.
