Clitheroe house-hunters will be treated to an exciting new range of homes and buying schemes, with Taylor Wimpey introducing its new Ribble Meadows development in the buying hotspot.

Ribble Meadows is a joint development venture with Barratt Homes, where 270 homes will be built across the scheme. Taylor Wimpey will be offering 135 new homes in a range of two, three and four bedroom designs; with a provision of affordable housing.

Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester said: “Clitheroe has proved an incredibly popular location for prospective buyers, and this latest development will bring so much more options, particularly with the new Help to Buy scheme.”

The government-backed Help to Buy initiatve will be available for eligible purchasers at Ribble Meadows which enables buyers to secure a property up to the value of £600k with just a five per cent deposit. The scheme also provides the buyer with a 20 per cent equity loan, meaning they only require a 75 per cent loan to value mortgage.

Anthony concluded: “Together with the homes and schemes, a considerable number of jobs will also be created during the build process and we will be working with the council to provide investment in the area as a whole as well.

“This is an exciting time for anyone looking to move to or within the area. With building set to begin in the coming months, we would urge any interested buyers to get in touch and register their interest in the development sooner rather than later.”
