Help to Buy larger properties at Lion Park

Taylor Wimpey is offering Help to Buy at its Lion Park development in Hambrook on its stylish home of the week ‘The Swallow’.

Priced from £365,000, the Swallow is a beautiful four bedroom home and is available through Help to Buy which allows buyers to secure one of these properties with just a 5% deposit. This means you could put down as little as £18,250 to reserve a large family home, much lower than traditionally associated with a smaller property. Under the scheme you get a mortgage for 75% of the property and the remaining 20% takes the form of an equity loan payable in five years’ time.

Fiona Creed, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, comments: “The scheme is a real help if you’re struggling to save a deposit for a larger home, which can be up to 15% of the property price. It also gives you the financial breathing space to save money, whilst actually owning your own property rather than spending your hard earned cash on rent.”

The Swallow is an ideal family house which has four bedrooms, a garden, a garage and a further off road parking space. On the ground floor you’ll find a beautiful living room with double doors leading to the open plan kitchen/ dining area. This ideal entertaining space further benefits from French doors which open out onto the rear garden.

Fiona adds: “I’d urge those looking at buying a new property to consider all the options available, this scheme might be an ideal way for you to get on or climb the property ladder. Visit the marketing suite at Lion Park where our sales executives can advise you on Help to Buy or a different initiative that could support you with your move.”

In addition to the Swallow, Lion Park currently has a range of stunning house types available with prices starting from £320,000 for the Avocet home, which is also available through Help to Buy.

Lion Park in Hampshire is ideally situated in Hambrook with a variety of local pubs and amenities close by. Not far away is the beautiful town of Emsworth with its marina and Chichester, in the other direction, offers a wide range of shops and restaurants. Located on Broad Road the development is close to major road networks, including the M27, whilst London and Gatwick Airport can be easily accessed by rail. There is also a vast array of local schools for children of all ages.
