Wedding open day offers more than a glimpse of venue perfection

Couples looking to tie the knot in North Somerset are being invited to visit one of the region’s top venues for a special wedding open day, and those who sign on the dotted line will be treated to a thank you present of their choice.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury is renowned for its stunning views and contemporary boutique style, and will be opening its doors to couples on Sunday 8 September.

The four-star hotel will host the event from 12-4pm and those who fall in love with the house and grounds and book immediately will get the chance to choose from three special treats organised by the hotel as a thank you.

Couples can choose from a complimentary engagement party with a disco, free chair covers and sashes for all daytime guests as well as pre-wedding drinks and canapés for the bridal party as they’re getting ready or an overnight Marco’s retreat which includes an overnight stay, two-course dinner at Marco’s, breakfast, light lunch and a shoulder massage for two people.

Visitors to the open day will also be able to see the ceremony and reception rooms set up to cater for different numbers and with different colour schemes and styles.

The highly experienced wedding team will also be on hand to offer help and advice on everything from prices and food to rooms and cars.
