House-hunters have another opportunity to secure a stunning ‘Ashton’ home at Taylor Wimpey’s new Alver Village development in Gosport as a fresh selection of plots is released for sale.

The three-bedroom ‘Ashton’ is just one of the housetypes available to buy at the popular development, which offers a range of one and two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses to suit buyers in a range of circumstances.

Priced from £190,000, the ‘Ashton’ offers spacious living accommodation over three floors and would make an ideal home for couples, growing families or downsizers looking for a contemporary property in an up-and-coming location.

Fiona Creed, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Alver Village is a fantastic development offering a wide variety of attractive new homes.

“With a number of new ‘Ashton’ plots now available to reserve, I would urge discerning house-hunters to visit the development to find out more about this fantastic house design and the lifestyle they could be enjoying.”

The ‘Ashton’ features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to a double bedroom, a further bedroom and a main bathroom, while the en-suite master bedroom can be found on the top floor and allocated parking can be found outside.

Alternatively, the three-bedroom ‘Denford’ terraced house is available at Alver Village from £172,000 and four-bedroom properties from £205,000.

The Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme is available at Alver Village, enabling eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure their new home for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Alver Village is located in the former garrison town of Gosport, on a peninsula jutting out into the Solent which is connected by ferry to Portsmouth. There is a Tesco supermarket on the development, and the town centre, boasting restaurants and bars, museums and a range of water sports, is just a short distance away.

Alver Village has its own community centre and community square, and the development itself divides into four distinct ‘Character Areas’, with a dedicated pedestrian and cycle route running along the southern edge of the development.

Parents will appreciate the choice of schools for children of all ages within easy reach of home, including Gomer Infant School, which is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, and Lee-On-The-Solent Infant School and Siskin, Grange and Gomer Junior Schools, which are all rated ‘good’ and are less than a mile from the development.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to Junction 11 of the M27, which is convenient for Portsmouth, Fareham or Southampton. Portsmouth can also be reached by passenger ferry from Gosport, which runs seven days a week and takes around seven minutes.

For a chance to secure a stunning ‘Ashton’ at Alver Village, house-hunters can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Grange Road, Rowner, Gosport, PO13 8AB, and open daily from 10am to 5pm (Mondays from 1pm to 5pm).
