Attractive gardens at Taylor Wimpey’s Queensacre at Crookham Park development in Church Crookham, Hampshire, have been named as winners of a prize at the New Homes Garden Awards.

Taylor Wimpey West London were presented with the Silver Award in the Best Show House Garden category.

The awards, which took place in October, are held annually to recognise and celebrate excellence in new home garden and landscape design.

Emma Jones, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West London, says: “We were absolutely honoured to win this fantastic award at the New Homes Garden Awards.

“The gardens at Queensacre at Crookham Park which won this prize really are stunning and perfectly complement the beautiful new homes available.

“I would recommend a visit to the development to enjoy the gardens and to find out more about the wonderful lifestyle on offer here.”

The gardens which won the prize are those lining the entrance avenue between the Sales Information Centre and the showhomes, and the front and rear gardens of four showhomes.

The entrance avenue has lawned gardens either side of the walkway and is bordered by box hedging. The gardens feature a stunning three-tiered, circular stone fountain and a host of attractive flower beds.

The gardens of the four showhomes are appealing yet simple, to show visitors to the development what can easily be achieved by any householder – not just avid gardeners.

The front gardens of each showhome feature a lawn with simple box hedging lining pathways and flower beds, which include a variety of evergreen shrubs and seasonal flowering plants.

The rear gardens are also designed to be ‘real gardens for real homebuyers’ and include lawns, patio areas with garden furniture, and border planting, with seasonal shrubs and flowering plants.

Each of the four showhomes also has a striking feature installation in its gardens to wow property-seekers. One boasts a timber summerhouse and another features a two-tiered fountain, while the gardens of the third showhome include a swing seat and a spherical water feature. A striking brass armillary sundial mounted on a stone plinth is the focal point of the fourth garden.

There’s a range of high-quality two, three and four-bedroom homes currently available at Queensacre at Crookham Park, priced from £280,000.

The Queensacre Sales Information Centre is located off Sandy Lane, Church Crookham, GU52 8LH, and open daily between 10.30am and 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
