Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is preparing to release a brand new collection of homes at its hugely-popular Parklands development in Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire.

This long-awaited new phase of homes will be launched at a special event on the evening of Thursday 16th January between 5 and 8pm, when property-seekers will be able to choose from a fresh selection of plots at the sought-after development.

What’s more, prospective purchasers attending the event will be able to find out how they can snap up one of the two, three, four and five-bedroom homes on offer using the Government’s Help to Buy shared equity scheme.

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Property-seekers who have missed out on their ideal home in the previous phases of Parklands will soon have another chance to secure their perfect place.

“I would urge anyone interested in reserving a property at this in-demand development to come along to our special event on the evening of Thursday 16th January to ensure they don’t miss out.”

There are still a few plots remaining for sale in the latest phase at Parklands, including the two-bedroom Plot 37 ‘Goya’ apartment, priced £225,000 and boasting lakeside views. It features an open-plan kitchen/breakfast/living room, a separate dining room, an en-suite master bedroom, a further bedroom and a main bathroom, while outside there’s allocated parking.

Under Help to Buy, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Parklands is conveniently located just a mile from Woburn Sands town centre, home to a wide variety of amenities including a post office and newsagent, a pharmacy, a beauty salon and hairdressers, exclusive boutiques, a traditional butcher, two bakers, a florist and a general store.

There are also a number of traditional inns and a choice of restaurants in addition to a medical centre, a dentist, a library, a primary and middle school, two community halls and a recreation ground.

Milton Keynes is just six miles away, offering a wider choice of shopping and leisure facilities, while commuters will appreciate that the M1 and A5 are both within easy reach and that the town’s rail station – offering regular services to London and the north – is within a few minutes’ walk of the development.

House-hunters can find out more about the new collection of homes coming soon to Parklands by attending the launch event on Thursday 16th January between 5pm and 8pm at the Sales Centre, located at 21 Greensands View, Station Road, Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire, MK17 8GR.
