House-hunters who missed out on securing their ideal property at Taylor Wimpey’s Mayberry Place development in Aylesbury will have another chance when a brand new selection of homes is released for sale.

Savvy homebuyers have been quick to reserve their choice of the homes on sale in the first phase of the development and a fresh collection of properties will soon be made available at Mayberry Place.

This new phase will feature an impressive selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and apartments in a fantastic location for commuters, just a short walk from Aylesbury Vale Parkway railway station.

Christine Scarborough, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We have been overwhelmed by the popularity of Mayberry Place, with property-seekers quickly recognising the benefits of choosing one of these fabulous homes in such a great location.

“I would urge potential buyers to visit the development as soon as possible to ensure they have their pick of the homes available in the new phase – or somebody else could beat them to it!”

To make securing their perfect property even easier, purchasers can benefit from the Government’s Help To Buy scheme at the development, which means eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of its full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Mayberry Place forms part of Aylesbury’s stunning new Berryfields community which will comprise exceptional community facilities and employment opportunities alongside more than 3,000 homes. There is also provision for two primary schools at Berryfields and the planned state-of-the-art Aylesbury Academy.

A local centre will include a food store and ten other smaller shops, while acres of green open spaces, including a riverside park area, will also feature 13 equipped play areas for families to enjoy. A community centre will provide a focal point for the residents of the new homes and a new health centre is also planned.

Berryfields will enjoy an integrated network of footpaths, cycleways and bridleways – for cyclists there will be 8km of cyclepaths within the estate which will link into the existing cycle route along the A41 into the town centre.

House-hunters can find out more about the new range of homes available to buy at Mayberry Place by visiting the Sales Information Centre, located off Aylesbury Vale Parkway, Bicester Road, HP18 0PS, and open Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5.30pm, and Mondays from 2pm to 5.30pm.
