26th March 2014 Print

Persimmon Homes has increased its presence in Aylesbury with the opening of its latest development, Quartz at Berryfields offering potential buyers the chance to own a new home with a deposit of just five per cent.

Ideally located on the outskirts of the London commuter belt and within walking distance of Aylesbury Parkway train station, Quartz at Berryfields offers a range of two, three and four bedroom homes, all available with the Government’s Help to Buy incentive scheme.

On initial release are generous two bedroom homes with ensuite, which are very much in demand in the area, as well as three bedroom semi -detached properties and three bedroom townhouses. Prices start from just £219,950 and four reservations have already been taken in the first three weeks of opening.

According to independent financial advisors, Key Solutions, using the Help to Buy scheme, buyers could purchase the two bedroom Charlton house with a deposit of just £11,250. For example a 25 year mortgage would require a mortgage loan of £168,710 and an equity loan of £44,990, which is provided by the Government and is interest free for the first five years, resulting in monthly mortgage payments of £751.77*.

Persimmon Homes sales director, Elaine Stratford, is confident the current properties will appeal to potential buyers looking to own their first home as well as those making their next step on the property ladder, who could also be eligible for Help to Buy.

She says: ““We urge anyone looking to secure their first home, or wanting to make their next move, to visit our marketing suite and speak to our sales advisors. There are a range of incentives and offers to assist buyers, including being able to help with the sale of an existing property.

“The Help to Buy scheme has helped thousands of people achieve their dream of owning their own home as well as being able to move into a larger home with a deposit of just five per cent.

Persimmon’s Home Change scheme, which is available in conjunction with Help to Buy, can take the hassle out of selling the buyer’s existing property leaving them free to concentrate on moving into their new home. Sales advisors will arrange valuations, agree a price and then market the property. There are no estate agent fees or headaches - everything is taken care of.

Buyers qualifying for Part Exchange can also enjoy a hassle-free move without any hidden marketing costs or chains that risk breaking down. Persimmon will arrange at least two valuations, agrees a market price with the customer before the straight forward process of moving into a new home can begin.

For more information on Quartz at Berryfields, or any of the incentives available, visit the marketing suite Thursday to Monday 10am until 5pm, or go to persimmonhomes.com.
