Perfect beach body pasta

17th March 2014 Print

With summer on the horizon it’s time to start shaping up so we are looking our best when we jet off on our holidays, for many of us this means shifting our winter weight. This year however, whether you are planning on going on a full blown diet or just cutting out the unhealthy high calorie foods, it’s a new type of pasta that could help you to achieve that perfect beach body.

Slendier is Australia’s leading brand of ‘konjac pasta’ and has already become established as a firm favourite with those looking to lose weight around the globe. Konjac is an unusual vegetable that can grow up to 25 centimetres in diameter and is a dietary staple throughout many Asian countries. What makes it special though is it benefits from a particular combination of factors that means it could be the answer to helping you lose weight in time for your holidays …

First and foremost the pasta is amazingly low in calories - 100g of their Slendier pasta and noodles contain just 8 calories (as opposed to around 300 calories for the real thing). However, what makes Slendier stand out from the crowd in that you get 250 grams of the product, i.e. 25% more than with others and it is the only certified organic konjac based pasta.  Whilst other weight loss products that are low in calories can still leave you feeling hungry and craving the biscuit tin, Slendier pasta will make you feel full as it is particularly high in fibre.  This helps delay digestion and keeps you feeling satisfied despite the extremely low calories; truly putting it in a league of its own when it comes to diet foods.

What’s more: throw in the fact that Slendier pasta is sugar free, gluten and fat free!!!  Studies have indicated it may have other health related benefits as well.  It takes one minute to prepare and when added to sauce tastes just as good as the ‘real thing’. Sound too good to be true?  There are already thousands of men and women who are happy to testify how good it is; including co-founder of the brand Ray Haven, who lost almost a stone and a half of weight whilst using the pasta.

Slendier’s pasta and noodle range hit UK shelves earlier in the year and is now available on and in selected health stores around the country. It costs just £2.49 per pack for 250 grams and comes in five different styles, all of which are organic – angel hair, fettuccine, rice style, spaghetti and noodles.
