Aspiring homebuyers in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, are being urged to register their interest in the brand new phase at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Mayberry Place – following the sellout success of the previous phase.

The leading housebuilder is preparing to release a fresh collection of high-quality three-bedroom homes at the development, which forms part of the popular Berryfields community, with a starting price from £269,950 for the first available plots.

Would-be purchasers can ensure they are at the front of the queue to choose from the initial selection of ‘Dunton’ homes when they are unveiled later this month by registering their details with Taylor Wimpey today.

Christine Scarborough, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our previous phase at Mayberry Place proved a huge hit with discerning homebuyers and, with the housing market flourishing, we’re expecting our latest collection of homes at the development to be even more popular.

“I would strongly advise would-be purchasers to register their interest as soon as they possibly can if they hope to take their pick from the first available plots.”

The three-bedroom ‘Dunton’ is the ideal choice for couples or young families, with the spacious open-plan ground-floor layout featuring a light and airy kitchen/living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a handy guest cloakroom.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two bedrooms and a main bathroom, while an en-suite master bedroom with a magnificent vaulted ceiling enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor. Outside, the ‘Dunton’ benefits from two allocated parking spaces.

To make purchasing one of the first homes in the new phase at Mayberry Place even easier and more affordable, the Help to Buy equity loan scheme will be available at the development.

Under the scheme first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan of up to 20% of their new home’s full price, so they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for those taking advantage of the scheme.

Mayberry Place forms part of Aylesbury’s stunning new Berryfields community which will comprise exceptional community facilities and employment opportunities alongside more than 3,000 homes. Two state-of-the-art new schools, The Aylesbury Vale Academy and Berryfields Primary School, opened in 2013, while there are also plans for a second primary school.

A local centre will include a food store and ten other smaller shops, while acres of green open spaces, including a riverside park area, will also feature 13 equipped play areas for families to enjoy. A community centre provides a focal point for the residents of the new homes and a new health centre is also planned.

Berryfields will enjoy an integrated network of footpaths, cycleways and bridleways, and for cyclists there will be 8km of cyclepaths within the estate which will link into the existing cycle route along the A41 into the town centre.
