Diamond Anniversary at BCA Preston

There are busy times ahead for everyone at BCA Preston in Reedfield Place, as staff and customers celebrate its 30th Anniversary later this month.

Officially opened on 14th May 1984 by HRH Prince Michael of Kent, the purpose built BCA Preston centre has evolved into Lancashire's number one vehicle re-marketing centre, selling over 25,000 vehicles per year on behalf of a number of blue chip vendors.

BCA will be holding a fortnight of very special sales to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary and are delighted to welcome of the Mayor of South Ribble, Councillor Dorothy Gardner, on Monday, 12th May to start the celebrations.

BCA Preston sells up to three days a week, with sales on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, offering a wide range of cars from dealer groups, fleet operators, local authorities and organisation including a regular sale of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles on behalf of Motability. The centre will stage a number of special events during the two week celebration period.

Preston Manager Chris Tinsley commented “BCA Preston really is the hub of the used vehicle trade in Lancashire, although customers will travel from all over the UK and even further afield to attend our sales. We will celebrate our 30th Anniversary in fine style in partnership with some of our biggest sellers and present an even wider choice of vehicles for our buyer customers.” 

BCA Preston is a purpose built remarketing centre, with two auction halls and undercover viewing for more than 300 vehicles. Every sale includes internet bidding for BCA customers using the BCA Live Online service. There is ample customer parking, all-day catering at the Auctioneer Cafeteria, an onsite vehicle preparation facility and a full range of customer services including collection and delivery.
