More storage space is one of eight key features that people need when choosing a home, as revealed in a Ipsos MORI research report published for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Bellway Homes new development ‘Baytrees’ in Gerrard’s Cross has cleverly factored in additional storage with each home allocated three separate lockable storage units.

Baytrees is an exclusive development of just 10 luxurious two and three bedroom apartments located in peaceful, gated surroundings in the sought after village of Gerrard’s Cross. The homes come in a range of layouts, but all offer spacious living accommodation of 1234 sq ft or more, with private outdoor space in the form of balconies and terraces, as well as ample built in storage within the homes themselves. The addition of three separate lockable storage rooms will delight buyers, one of which is located above the car port, with a further two in the underground car park.

Kevin Bowles, Sales Manager at Bellway North London comments: “Modern developments don’t tend to feature attics or basements which provide a handy place to hide sports equipment and other bulky possessions, so storage can become an issue. At Baytrees, we have factored in ample storage as we aware that people often have larger items that they don't use every day and that they want to keep out of the way, perfect for those golf clubs or skiing equipment!”
The interiors of the homes are generously appointed with graceful entrance halls that incorporate built-in cupboard space. Kitchens feature contemporary linear cabinets, with a composite stone worktop and the full range of integrated Siemens appliances. Sleek white bathroom suites are off set by Hansgrohe taps and showers and chrome towel rails.

Many of the lounge / dining areas feature elegant bay windows which allow natural light to flood in and lead out onto the private terraces. Master bedrooms are light and airy with large windows, en suite bathrooms and of course large fitted wardrobes. Guest bedrooms also feature built-in wardrobes, while some layouts also include separate utility rooms providing yet further storage space.

The building is set within grassy landscaped gardens, with mature trees to the perimeters. Each home includes two parking spaces in the underground car park and a car port provides covered parking for visitors.

Gerrard’s Cross enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the most prestigious locations in the Home Counties, with its tree-lined avenues, greenbelt status and convenient location just twenty miles from the capital. The town is well served by independent food stores as well as supermarkets including a brand new Waitrose. There is also a rich choice of places to eat and drink, as well as numerous opportunities to enjoy life in this thriving community, which is surrounded by the green Buckinghamshire countryside.

Gerrard’s Cross is an ideal location for those who work in Central London but prefer home to be in a more tranquil and leafy environment. Baytrees is superbly connected being situated just a short walk from Gerrard’s Cross station from where fast trains into London Marylebone take around 23 minutes. Gerrards Cross is also strategically located for the road network with the M40 and M25 on the doorstep and Heathrow just 12 miles away.

The homes available at Baytrees range from £719,995 to £1,175,000. The showhome is now open to visit. To book a viewing or for further information on Baytrees, visit bellway.co.uk.
