There’s a fantastic opportunity for home-buyers to grab a great deal on a brand new two or three-bedroom home at Taylor Wimpey’s Great Western Park development in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Purchasers reserving their new home by the end of July can take advantage of a price freeze on the limited selection of properties ready for completion this year.

First-time buyers hoping to step on the property ladder can also find out all they need to know at a First-Time Buyer Event at this popular development on Saturday 19th July.

By coming along, they’ll be able to discover how the Help to Buy scheme can enable them to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

They can also get individual advice from an independent financial adviser, as well as browsing detailed plans for the range of properties available.

Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’ve a strictly limited selection of two and three-bedroom properties available for 2014 completion at Great Western Park, and now’s the time to reserve and make the most of the price freeze at the development!

“I’d urge anyone hoping to step on the property ladder at the development to attend our First-Time Buyer event and find out how their dream could become a reality!”

Two-bedroom homes are priced from £235,000 at Great Western Park, while three-bedroom designs are available from £280,000.

The two-bedroom ‘Beckford’, for example, is priced from £235,000 and features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two double bedrooms and a bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from allocated parking.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Great Western Park is conveniently located close to the vibrant town of Didcot, where homebuyers can enjoy a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, with all the amenities of Oxford city centre just 12 miles away.

Over time the new community will benefit from new primary and secondary schools, shops, community centres, a health centre, open spaces and play areas.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to the A34, which leads to the M4 and M40, while Didcot Parkway railway station offers regular services to London Paddington, with a journey time of around 40 minutes.

To find out more about stepping on the property ladder at Great Western Park, property-seekers should come along to the First-Time Buyer Event on Saturday 19th July from 11am to 3pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
