easyboats sells Riva Rivale for the second time and adds her to charter pool

Having sold her to a British owner in 2007, easyboats has once more handled the sale of Riva Rivale ‘Sakura’ to a second pair of safe British hands. The 52-footer is also now listed for charter through easyboats, the only Riva Rivale available for charter in Mallorca.

Lorenzo Vila, Director of easyboats, founded in Mallorca in 1989, comments, “This is a significant sale for us as the Riva Rivale is a really special boat. Brand new she’s worth almost two million euros, one of the most expensive 52-footers on the market, although 2006-model Sakura sold for less than half that. Despite having 750 hours on the clock, the boat has been immaculately maintained with the same Spanish skipper at the helm since launch, and at marine survey the report concluded that the boat’s condition was ‘better than new’. We’re certain the new owner, and fortunate charterers, will go on to enjoy some wonderful days at sea.”

Beautifully designed by an Italian shipyard which celebrated its 170th anniversary in 2012, Rivas are known for their craftsmanship and quality, sophistication and elegance, and the Rivale is no exception. Part of the open ‘retro’ range, which also includes the stunning Aquariva and Rivarama, the Rivale has two double cabins plus a crew cabin and, thanks to two powerful MAN 1,100 engines, her cruising speed is 36 knots, with 40 knots achievable flat out.

Lorenzo finishes, “The Rivale 52 is the perfect day boat. From her home berth in Port Andratx in the southwest you could head north to Port Soller, passing the beautiful Island of Dragonera and postcard-friendly Sa Foradada on the way, go east to Es Trenc, Mallorca’s most famous white sand beach, or join many other stylish yachts at anchor off Nikki Beach on Costa Calvia. Whatever you choose, be prepared for heads to turn as the Rivale is a stunner.”

Finished in eye-catching ‘grey sand’, Sakura is available for day charter with easyboats at 3,000 euros per day (18,900 euros per week) including skipper. She has waterskis, a wakeboard, donut, snorkelling gear and an Avon jet RIB suitable for towing.
