House-hunters in Oxfordshire are being urged to act now to secure their dream home at Taylor Wimpey’s Longford Park development in Bodicote – at this year’s price, ready for a 2015 move.

Property prices across the country are on the up, but prospective buyers who reserve their preferred plot now can take advantage of today’s fantastic deals – and guard against the possibility of paying a higher price later.

By reserving at an early stage, customers can take their pick of the plots available and also ensure their new home is completed to their personal specifications, by choosing from Taylor Wimpey’s stunning range of interior Options.

And with the Government’s Help to Buy equity loan scheme available, would-be buyers might be surprised by just how affordable purchasing a new Taylor Wimpey home at Longford Park can be.

Claire Kemp, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Now is the perfect time for house-hunters to purchase one of the beautiful new homes we have available at Longford Park and which will be ready to move into next year.

“Homebuyers who act quickly can take advantage of this year’s house prices, which are guaranteed even if prices of similar properties have risen by the time their new home is completed next year.”

Under Help to Buy, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

There’s a superb selection of new homes available to reserve at Longford Park including two-bedroom houses from £228,000, three-bedroom designs from £257,950, and four-bedroom detached properties from £345,000.

The three-bedroom ‘Flatford’, for example, priced from £257,950, features a large living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from parking for two cars.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Set in an ideal location within the picturesque village of Bodicote, Longford Park offers the perfect combination of beautiful countryside and a relaxed lifestyle.

Banbury’s thriving town centre is just two miles away, and offers a wealth of great independent shops, designer stores, a twice-weekly market and an array of pubs and restaurants.

Longford Park is ideally located for commuters, with the M40 within easy reach and Banbury railway station offering regular services to London, Birmingham, Leamington and Oxford.

For families, there is a choice of schools for all ages located within close proximity of the new homes, including Bishop Loveday Church of England Primary School, which was rated ‘good’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.
