New easyJet flight from London Luton to Essaouira announced

From 1 May 2015, it will be possible to catch a direct flight with easyJet from London Luton to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast of Morocco.

Comments Alisdair Luxmoore of Fleewinter, which offers holidays at the luxurious Rebali Riad complex in the village of Sidi Kaouki, just a 15 minute drive from Essaouira airport:

“We have been waiting for this for about 10 years and it is great news. It will cut out the 2 to 3 hour transfer from Marrakech to the coast which will appeal to families, especially those with young children.

“So from May next year, it will be possible to leave the UK early in the morning and be sitting on a sun lounger by the pool sipping a mint tea by mid-morning. Brits now how a fabulous new long weekend destination.”

Rebali is just 300 metres from one of the best beaches in Morocco and activities on offer include wind/kite/board surfing (with tuition if required), camel safaris, mule rides, Berber village lunch visits and cookery demonstrations.
