Next year the Olympics will hit Brazil and the global attention is going to make the country an even bigger tourist attraction than it is already!

Brazil is the biggest country in the Latin American region and the world's fifth largest, both by geographical area and by population. It has a coastline of 7,491 km and borders all the other South American countries except Ecuador and Chile.

Back in Rio there will be plenty of time to discover the famous beaches such as Copacabana – and playing football with the locals, plus a chance to see the football stadiums before attending a lively samba show during the evening.

Next up on the busy itinerary is a flight to see the incredible Iguassu Falls (which at 82 metres are a third higher than Niagara) before taking a boat ride to see the falls from the Argentine side.

Other highlights of the holiday include the colonial town of Paraty, sea kayaking to Sapeca Island, snorkelling, exploring a mangrove forest and a jeep ride to see the waterfalls in the Bocaina Hills.

The holiday can also be extended with a visit to the famous Pantanal rainforest to spot wildlife including the elusive jaguar.
