Home-hunters looking for their ideal place in Wiltshire will soon be able to choose from a new collection of properties by leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.

Since its launch last year, West Point at Ridgeway Farm has proved incredibly popular with purchasers and to cater for continuing demand, a new phase of homes is now being released for sale, providing a wealth of opportunities for buyers in all circumstances.

The new phase will comprise a fresh selection of properties at West Point at Ridgeway Farm that includes a stunning choice of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses.

Alongside the new homes, Phase 2 will include a children’s play area and public open space, a new through-road to relieve traffic congestion in the local area, and a new primary school which is due to open in September 2016.

Charlie Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, says: “Ridgeway Farm is shaping up to be an incredibly popular new community in Swindon, and this new phase will provide a further fantastic mix of homes which will meet the needs of local people.

“We’ve been delighted with the success of the first phase of homes at West Point, and are expecting this latest collection of properties to be just as sought-after – so I’d urge anyone hoping to secure their favourite plot at this exciting development to get in quick!”

The new phase at West Point will be launched on Saturday 22nd August, and the special event will include a delicious barbecue for visitors to enjoy.

In the meantime, there’s a selection of properties still available in the first phase, including the three-bedroom ‘Crofton’, priced from £265,000.

Ridgeway Farm enjoys a peaceful location on the outskirts of Swindon, within easy reach of everyday facilities and great transport links. A short drive from the development is Orbital Shopping Centre, boasting high street names such as Asda, Boots, Next, Marks & Spencer and New Look, while a wider range of shops, bars and restaurants can be found in Swindon town centre just four miles from home.

There’s no shortage of leisure facilities in the local area, with a cinema, a bowling alley and an ice rink at Shaw Ridge Leisure Park, while Mouldon Hill Country Park is close to home. The development is also within easy reach of the Cotswold Water Park, Cirencester, Malmesbury and the Cotswolds.

Parents will appreciate that there is a good choice of schools nearby, including Brook Field Primary School, which is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. For commuters, the A419 is just five miles away, offering easy access to the M4 and M5, while Swindon railway station provides direct services to London Paddington, Cardiff and Bristol.

The development is located off Ridgeway Farm, Common Platt, Purton, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN5 4JX, and open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
