Redrow is set to unload the latest phase of homes at its Lucas Green development in Whittle-Le-Woods nearly Chorley.

New phase, The Royals, is so named in a salute to the site's rich history, boasting a Grade II listed gun mounting originally installed to defend the Royal Ordnance Factory at Chorley against attack.

It also gives a nod to a previous visit to Lucas Green by HRH The Princess Royal.

Now it is set to be home to a stunning collection of four and five-bedroom executive properties, and Redrow has fired an opening salvo with news that its stunning show home, The Henley, will open on the weekend of March 5 and 6.

The Henley will give buyers the chance to find out for themselves what these latest beautiful homes have to offer.

With a double garage, two en-suites and a 36-foot family dining and kitchen area, the Henley is a generously proportioned family home, oozing with quality and character. Dressed to impress, the fully furnished show home will display many of Redrow’s top of the range specification choices and upgrades.

As with all homes from the award-winning house builder's Heritage Collection, traditional exteriors reflect classic English craftsmanship and style, while the chic and modern interiors offer everything today's modern family could wish for – and more.

The kitchen is fully fitted with top of the range furniture and brand name integrated appliances; the property also boasts a host of other top class features and the sophistication you'd expect from such a premium property.

Prices for The Royals start from £409,995 for a Henley, similar to the new show home, while Lucas Green continues to have two and three-bedroom Evesham style homes from £120,000 upwards and four-bedroom detached houses from £289,995.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) said: “Lucas Green is a development we are exceptionally proud of.

“It is already home to a collection of popular two, three and four-bedroom family homes, and this latest addition of The Royals will undoubtedly complement those already there - and offer even more choice and style for purchasers.

“The development has been visited by HRH The Princess Royal, who came to Lucas Green in her capacity as president of the Carers Trust to see how houses like our Worcester and Cambridge styles are more accessible for those with mobility issues.”

Claire added: “You could say then that our homes are fit for royalty, but we know that our home owners feel like kings and queens anyway!”

Lucas Green is situated in Whittle le woods, close to the market town of Chorley, and is already putting itself on the map with a host of accolades and awards. In the 2015 What House? Awards the development won Best Landscape Design, which took into account the Grade II Listed World War II Pill Box and the gun mounting, as well as the wider landscaping.
