Honda motorcycles star in The Power of Dreamscape at BIMS
A range of Honda motorcycles from past and present will be lining up alongside Honda cars at this year’s International Motor Show at ExCeL in London from 23 July – 3 August, to help celebrate Honda’s 60th anniversary with The Power of Dreamscape.Honda has taken over the open air Live Action Arena at ExCeL, renaming it 'Dreamscape' for the duration of the British Motor Show. This 50 square metre tarmac arena with a stage at one end and tiered seating for 2,500 people, will house dynamic performances that tell the unique story of Honda, using cars, motorcycles, dancers and even robots!
ASIMO, Honda’s advanced humanoid robot, will also show off its latest skills, including a new ability to run.
Mr Honda once said that the older he got, he more dreams he had. Dreamscape is all about Honda's continuing ability to dream, invent, and to delight its customers, and a cast of actors, drivers and riders will showcase over 40 different products from Honda’s history as the marque puts its bikes and cars through their paces during 20 minute performances of non-stop show action.
The show’s two-wheel cast includes:
Monkey bike – a 1968 Z50 JP in red
Cub 90 – a 1968 model of the world’s best selling motorcycle
Montessa 4RT – Honda’s current trials bike
Fireblade – the original 1992 model, signed by the Father of the ‘Blade, Tadao Baba
Lead 110 – the latest version of the UK’s best selling scooter
PS125 – Honda’s trendy 125cc scooter
Transalp – Honda’s all-new adventure bike
CRF450R – one of Honda’s great off-road motorcross machines
CBR1000RR Fireblade – the all-new 1000cc supersports bike, heralded as the best in its class
Goldwing – the ultimate touring machine and the world’s first motorcycle to have an airbag
CB1000R - this latest addition to Honda’s motorcycle line-up is a performance naked machine, combining great performance with ultimate style
DN-01 – due to be launched in the UK in August, the DN-01 sports revolutionary and unique transmission technology and futuristic styling
Each Dreamscape performance will last 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes viewing time, where visitors can get close to the stars of the show. There will be four shows per day at 11.00am, 13.00, 15.00 and 16.30.

Showgoers will also be able to experience Honda’s latest TV advert – Jump – in a vertical skydive simulator which will be located between the main hall and the Dreamscape arena on the east side of ExCeL.
