Brave the elements this winter with Honda

14th October 2008 Print
Customers who ‘brave the elements’ this winter can benefit from a great new deal from Honda across four of its most popular motorcycle models, until 31 March 2009.

Honda’s 2008 model VFR800 VTEC sports-tourer, NT700V Deauville tourer, XL1000V Varadero adventure (all in either standard or ABS versions), as well as the XL700VA Transalp adventure bike, all come with a complimentary 45-litre colour matched top-box and 360-degree heated grips – the perfect combination for riding through the winter.

Each of the machines are perfect for motorcycling in all weathers. The dependable VFR800 has formed part of Honda’s range since 1998 and during that time it has developed an enviable reputation for reliability, quality and performance in the popular sports-tourer class, competitively priced at £7,921 OTR. The ABS model adds the reassurance of anti-lock brakes to the VFR’s already impressive list of attributes and retails at £8,721 OTR.

The NT700V Deauville celebrates its 10th birthday this year. This machine has become a by-word for reliability and ruggedness and has proved to be popular with commuters, paramedics and police forces across the globe. The top-box adds to the standard machine’s already impressive load-carrying potential, thanks to the panniers which come as standard, while the ABS option offers further peace of mind for optimal braking in all weather conditions. The non-ABS Deauville costs £6,421 while the ABS-equipped machine retails at £6,821 OTR.

Honda’s XL1000V Varadero has been in Honda’s range for almost a decade and over that time has build up a huge following of fans who appreciate the torque from the 996cc V-twin engine and the machine’s ability to ride for miles in comfort. The standard Varadero retails at £6,971 with the ABS model priced at £7,521 OTR.

The new 2008 version of the long-serving XL700VA Transalp provides even greater power from the 680cc V-twin, as well as introducing ABS as standard. Now in its 21st year, the Honda Transalp is a trusted, exciting and great all round adventure motorcycle, retailing for £5,621 on the road.

A full range of Honda genuine accessories is also available for each of the individual models detailed, to include main stands, pillion arm rests, 12V DC socket kits and side pannier sets, to name but a few.
