New Honda dealer opens near Bridlington

A new official Honda franchised motorcycle dealer, Ride Moto Honda, is now open in Carnaby, near Bridlington in East Yorkshire.

Located at a purpose built 200-square foot premises in Carnaby Industrial Estate on Lancaster Road, Ride Moto Honda offers a comprehensive service with a broad range of new and used Honda motorcycles, clothing, accessories, servicing and Honda genuine parts.

Ride Moto Honda’s dealer principal – Dave Browne – is a dyed-in-the-wool bike rider for the last 30 years, as well as being renowned for building and restoring his own motorcycles.

Dave said, “This is my first venture into the bike industry in a professional way and I’m enjoying it so far! Our aim was to become the hub of life on two wheels in the local area and we seem to be managing to achieve that, with the place having a great atmosphere.

“We’ve got generous parking and an on-site café, so we’re really pushing Ride Moto Honda as a meeting venue during the week or at weekends. We’re open on a Sunday between 10am and 2pm, so if you’re on two-wheels and you’re local, we’d love to see you! This is such a strong biking area, but so many riders haven’t had a place to meet – until now. We’re hoping to take that to a completely new level.”

Dave’s future plans include a separate Mezzanine above the shop floor so Ride Moto Honda can house its own self-contained clothing department. Ride Moto Honda also intends on staging a number of road shows.

Dave added, “My first bike was a Honda SS50 and since then I’ve owned many Honda’s. I’ve got a soft-spot for such classic machines, but Honda’s old and new have one, certain quality - reliability. When you’re a biker, confidence on the bike you’re on is everything, and you have that with a Honda motorcycle which is why I chose this franchise over any other bike manufacturer.”
