Housebuilder Redrow is holding a special Open House event to welcome buyers to its beautiful canal-side development in Garstang.

There is no need to ‘barge in’ as the developer is issuing an open invitation for Sunday, January 29, so people can see for themselves the stunning location and delightful properties offered by Canal View at The Toppings.

The marketing suite and show homes will be open and advisors will be on hand to discuss the many types of homes available, along with advice and information on incentives to help make new-home dreams a reality.

The development has a range of properties available including two and four-bedroom homes, with the added appeal of some of its Tavy two-bedroom houses being sold under the ‘Advantage’ banner, which means eligible purchasers from the local area can buy at 80% of the market value.

But it’s Redrow’s bungalows in the picturesque market town which are expected to have particular appeal – and which are already proving very popular.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) says: “Forget the idea of bungalows being tiny and twee, ours offer spacious accommodation for all kinds of buyer. Whilst naturally appealing to older downsizers, they are also suitable for families who might want something different. Indeed, single storey living is becoming increasingly popular for couples, young and old, for whom life mostly on one floor might be attractive for a number of reasons, not least an ease of living.”

Among the properties at Canal View is the Bournemouth dormer bungalow. It has the majority of its living space, including two bedrooms, on the ground floor but there is a double bedroom and en-suite in the roofspace.

“With its three double bedrooms, including one with en-suite, an extensive open plan living, dining and kitchen area and an integral double garage, there’s plenty of space for everyone, from growing families to visiting grandchildren,” Claire adds.

“And the Bournemouth, which has a guide price from around £405,000, is as luxurious as it is large, boasting a fully-fitted kitchen with top of the range integral appliances, fitted wardrobes to all the bedrooms and a ground floor bathroom which boasts a bath and a large walk-in shower.”

All properties at the development offer the traditional craftsmanship, charm and character buyers expect from the award-winning Heritage Collection, with all the benefits that come with a low maintenance, energy-efficient, practical new home.

Add to that the wonderful location with all the amenities of Garstang town centre to hand, yet surrounded by the lovely Lancashire countryside, and it is easy to see why Redrow thinks this is worth viewing to understand just how delightful living there would be.
