New Peugeot Boxer now punches even harder

13th April 2007 Print
Peugeot Boxer Since its introduction in October 2006 the Peugeot Boxer has been well accepted and over 1292 vehicles have been sold.

To further strengthen the line-up a new “heavy duty” range of three panel vans and one chassis cab has been introduced.

The new “heavy duty” range will be known as the “4” series and will provide class-leading maximum axle weights of 2,100 kg for the front axle and 2,400 kg for the rear axle.

Interior load space also increases to a maximum of 15 m3 and two HDi diesel engine options will be available: a 2.2 litre 120 bhp (HDi 120) and a 3.0 litre 157 bhp (HDi 157) both fitted with a manual six-speed gearbox.

Introduced alongside these new models, the Boxer range is now available with an optional pneumatic rear suspension costing £990 excluding VAT. The suspension provides:

A constant ride height under all load conditions
The ability to lower the rear of the vehicle to assist loading
Improved comfort for passenger versions
