A Box’er tricks for Emmdee Building Services

Bristol based EmmDee Building Services has added 13 brand new Peugeot Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to its fleet of 37 throughout the UK.

The 11 Peugeot Boxer and two Partner vans have just gone out to the Bristol-based company, that cited specification, style and a sterling service from the Robins and Day dealership based in the city, as one of many reasons for buying Peugeot.

EmmDee’s primary business offers 24-hour building maintenance services to some of the West Country’s largest companies, so its fleet of vehicles must be reliable, practical and economical to cover approximately 15,000 miles each year, responding as they do to emergencies 24 hours a day.

To ensure its vans are available and ready to work around the clock, EmmDee has enlisted the support of Robins and Day Bristol to cover all servicing and maintenance requirements for its vehicle fleet.

“Vans on our fleet are expected to perform 365 days a year, plus an extra one in 2008!” explained Ken Neilson, Business Development Manager, EmmDee Building Services. “The new Peugeot vans provide a dependable role for all our business requirements; they have a low kerb weight and plenty of space for all the building supplies our drivers need. We consulted our staff about the type of van they find most suitable and the Peugeot range best fitted their requirements, as it combines style, good specification and practicality.”

The Boxer is the largest of five Peugeot vans available (others include the award-winning Expert, Partner, new Bipper and 207 Van) from £15,450 (excluding VAT) with three diesel engine options; a 2.0-litre HDi 100, the 2.2-litre HDi 120 and a 3.0-litre HDi 157.
