Homebuyers looking to buy a brand new home at Phoenix Quarter in Dartford, Kent will need to move fast as the final few homes are now available for sale. Barratt Homes is nearly finished selling at its popular development, with just twenty properties remaining.

Now 95% sold, there are a range of two- to four-bedroom houses available for purchase. The remaining three- and four-bedroom properties are ideally for families and feature open-plan kitchen/dining areas to suit the needs of a modern lifestyle. On the first floor, there is a living area, while a master bedroom sits on the top floor. The new homes have been built with energy efficient boilers and high-specification insulation, so are ideal for those looking to reduce household bills.

With all homes qualifying for Help to Buy, the homes are expected to sell quickly.

Natalie Perry, Director of Sales and Marketing at Barratt Kent, says: “Phoenix Quarter has been exceptionally well received by homebuyers in the Dartford area and we are delighted with its success. Help to Buy has proven to be an increasingly popular way of buying a brand new home given its low deposit requirement, and last year we celebrated our 1000th Kent Help to Buy customer. We would encourage potential homebuyers to visit the development and explore the properties available.”

Help to Buy, the Government’s popular equity loan scheme, helps both first time buyers and house movers purchase a brand new home with lower upfront costs. The helpful scheme means that buyers only need to raise a five per cent deposit, while the Government steps in with an interest-free (for the first five years) loan of a further 20% of the property value. In this way, buyers are able to access more affordable 75% loan-to-value mortgages. The scheme is available with new homes worth up to the value of £600,000.

Dartford is set in north-west Kent, offering a revived town with a range of bars, restaurants and shops. The town itself boosts amenities like the traditional Dartford Farmers’ Market with fresh produce from the local Kentish fields and orchards. Phoenix Quarter is also in the catchment area for many of the leading schools in the area, including Dartford Grammar School. For those looking to enjoy the outdoors, a free Kent Wildlife Trust family membership is offered to all purchasers at Phoenix Quarter.

Dartford Station is just under a mile away, providing trains to Victoria, Cannon Street and Charing Cross via London Bridge in less than 45 minutes. Ebbsfleet International Station, which connects residents with central London in 17 minutes and Paris in two hours, is less than six miles away and also on the Fastrack bus route, which offers a bus stop five minutes from the development. The A2, M25, M2 and M20 are all easily accessible, putting Bluewater Shopping Centre, London City Airport, Gatwick Airport and The 02 Arena all within easy reach.

The remaining homes are available from £279,995 and with the popular Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, a deposit of just £14,000. For more information, visit barratthomes.co.uk.
