Gift giving is a fun activity everyone seems to enjoy – especially people on the receiving end. However, the process of choosing the said gift can really become nerve-racking. This is particularly true if you’re looking for the perfect gift for your special someone. And even more true if that someone is your girlfriend. 

If you’ve been with your girl for some time now, chances are you’ve already bought her tons of gifts. But were all of them something she truly wanted? Not wanting to make you more nervous than you already are, we’ve decided to share some gift ideas that girls really seem to be into.

Jewelry is always a good idea

Might seem a bit cliché or obvious but girls really do love jewelry. No matter what the occasion is, you can always surprise your girl with some nice bling. Since, presumably, you’re already familiar with her taste in jewelry, you shouldn’t have too many issues to choose a piece she’ll be really happy to receive. If, on the other hand, you’re not quite sure what she may like, you can always play it safe and choose a piece that resembles something she already has. But if you really want to surprise her, keep in mind that a shiny new necklace is the perfect gift. 

Something straight off of her wish list

Let’s face it, almost every girl has some sort of a wish list going on. No matter the website we’re talking about, girls really love to shop online. So, chances are she has a wish list or two full of items that are simply waiting to be purchased. Therefore, the next time she comes over, try to sneak a peek at some of her favorite shopping apps and let her wish list inspire you. Pro tip: wish list items that seem to be there for a while are usually the ones she wants the most but still can’t find a way to justify the purchase. Just make sure she doesn’t catch you going through her phone as, chances are, she won’t be too happy about that.

Cozy her up

The simple truth is that girls simply adore feeling cozy. That’s why their homes are always full of soft and fluffy fabrics and items. That’s why you can never go wrong with soft blankets, throw pillows, onesies or house boots. Now, you may be thinking: “Oh, but she already has all of those things.” But listen carefully – the majority of girls will agree that one can simply NEVER have too many cozy items in their possession. As the famous internet joke states – you can never have too many soft blankets. 

Gift her a fun experience

If your girl is not too fond of material things, you can always choose to gift her an experience instead. Chances are she has already mentioned a few things she always wanted to do, places she really wants to visit or simply activities she wants to be a part of. So, get your mental cogs going and remember what are some of the things and experiences she’d really enjoy but hasn’t got the chance to do so far. 

Surprise her with the gift of a drawer

Finally, if you two have been together for a long time but you’re still not living together, you can try to make it clear that you’re ready for the next step in your relationship by giving her the gift of a drawer. What this means is that you should make room for some of her things in your living environment if you’re certain you wish to share it with her one day. To make this gift even more adorable than it already is, you can even empty out one of your drawers, take it out of the storage unit, wrap it nicely and actually gift her the entire thing. (The drawer, not the storage unit, of course.)
