International supply chain seminar from FTA
Driver safety, VOSA enforcement on foreign vehicles, Operation Stack and the current operation of the international haulage marketplace are amongst the subjects covered by the Freight Transport Association Supply Chain Seminar to be held in Coventry on 19 July.Following on from a successful launch event for FTA international group members in 2006, this year's event is open to all, whether in FTA membership or not.
FTA's Manager - International Fleet Management, Don Armour, says, 'We have put together a programme designed to cover current aspects of international operation highlighted by our members as being of key concern at present.
'The programme blends a mix of both on-the-road problems with the latest advice on commercial needs, including insurance and contracts. We are pleased to have obtained a high quality programme of speakers - this is an event international hauliers will want to attend.'
The event will be held at the Royal Court Hotel, Keresley, near Coventry on 19 July and registration costs £199 (plus VAT) for FTA members and £250 (plus VAT) for non-members, with discounts for second and subsequent delegates.
