Have your fill of Tippers and Tankers at the CV Show 2008
If you operate within the tanker or tipping sector, you don’t need telling that yours is a sector of the transport industry that can be a real minefield of legislation and regulation. But don’t worry. If it’s advice or ideas you need, you should head for the NEC from 15-17 April. Visit halls 17 and 18, and the TipCon TankCon stands, where you can find information, new innovations and many other exhibitors operating in the same sector. There’s also an adjacent outside display area where you’ll find a further 48 vehicles, including 25 tippers with a wide variety of bodies and gear. Other kit on show ranges from a street sweeper to a 10 vehicle transporter as well as recovery vehicles.
And if you have time, the Road Haulage Association, as part of its TipCon TankCon display, is providing a Seminar Centre. Grab a coffee, sit for a while and listen to a range of speakers giving short presentations on a wide variety of issues including consignor liability, on-board-weighing, chassis stability and working from height; these are all issues that concern you and there will of course be time for you to ask questions.
