Tachograph compliance – a complete service at operator base
The Freight Transport Association has produced a new tachograph compliance service designed to help vehicle operators meet their legal obligations. The new scheme is delivered on-site at operator premises. Expert and experienced FTA personnel visit operator premises and conduct a variety of compliance activities supporting in-house administration and advising on remedial care or efficiency improvements. The on-site visiting service is targeted at keeping operators compliant with their O-licence requirements, meeting drivers’ hours and working time rules, and covers analogue, digital and mixed fleets.FTA has over twenty-five years of experience in providing tachograph analysis, advisory and support service and each year analyses over five million analogue and digital tachograph driver records. The new facility combines all of that experience with introduction of the latest driver management software and the benefits of FTA’s top level involvement with the regulatory process conducted by the Department for Transport and VOSA.
Users can choose from a range of services and decide on the quantity and frequency of advisor visits. Bespoke packages can therefore be designed to suit the individual nature and needs of each user. Such packages could contain help with driver records and administration, chart and digital administration and analysis, digital compliance support, driver and transport office training, and a comprehensive range of advice and support.
