The best we’ve ever had

This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show was “the best we’ve ever had” according to Derek Beevor, Managing Director of Road Tech Computer Systems Limited. And that’s no mean feat given that the company has been exhibiting at the show for almost twenty years.

Throughout the three days, Road Tech’s stand was constantly packed with visitors wanting to see the company’s innovative Tachomaster online tachograph analysis system and, no matter how long they spent on the stand, everyone who visited was given a free CD copy of the Tachomaster software and a free 28-day trial of the service.

“The stand was absolutely crammed full, all day, every day”, said Derek Beevor, “in all the years we’ve been exhibiting here we’ve never had such successful show, it’s the best we’ve ever had”.

“People like to be able to try before they buy and with our free software & trial that’s exactly what everyone who saw us can now do.”

As well as hundreds of new faces, many existing Tachomaster users also made a point of visiting the stand. “It’s always good to see customers and, whilst we weren’t surprised, we were delighted at just how pleased they are with Tachomaster”, said Derek.

The software that Road Tech gave away was the whole package, not a cut-down version and, at the end of the free-trial period, continued use of Tachomaster costs just one pound per driver per week (to use Tachomaster to manage digital vehicle data, is only 50p per vehicle per week).
