Kumho to supply OE trailer tyres to Kögel

Kögel, one of Europe’s leading trailer manufacturers, has selected Kumho Tyres as an original equipment supplier. The chosen product is Kumho’s Longmark KLT01, a highly efficient, new generation, long haul tyre.

The KLT01 features a broad contact patch for excellent road holding, a new tread design that aids stone ejection and robust shoulders for optimum directional stability. A low rolling resistance, high quality carcass and low road noise level are other qualities that combine to make KLT01 one of the best-designed trailer tyres on the market.

Delivery of the following sizes of KLT01 will begin immediately:

445/45 R 19.5
435/50 R 19.5
385/65 R 22.5
385/55 R 22.5

Kögel is a major manufacturer of trailers, of which it has produced 24,000 in the past 12 months also. Kumho supported Kögel at the 2008 IAA Nutzfahrzeuge international commercial vehicle show in Hanover, where three of the trailers were fitted with Kumho tyres.
