When the going gets tough, the tough get selling
The current economic climate will clearly have an impact upon next year's CV Show says the Road Haulage Association. This follows news that two truck manufacturers have taken the decision not to exhibit at next year's Commercial Vehicle Show. Despite this, the RHA remains confident that the Show will continue to be a great success.“No-one likes to see a truck manufacturer turn down the opportunity to exhibit at a major show", said RHA Chief Executive Roger King, "but we cannot lose sight of the situation facing the industry globally. The CV Show, as always, will adjust to reflect the current economic climate, with over 350 exhibitors already preparing products and services designed to improve the industry's efficiency and consequent improvement in profitability.”
"The road haulage industry is renowned for its resilience and its ability to adapt. Next year's CV Show will demonstrate this. A Show for tens of thousands of operators determined to see all that's best, including truck and van manufacturers who believe that when the going gets tough, the tough get selling".
