Win a day on the track

26th November 2008 Print
Visit the IAM stand at this year’s bike show to find out more about our pioneering riding simulator, current road safety research and our prize draws to win an IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) rider skills day worth £120 or a KBC helmet.

The full sized, experimental riding simulator is based on a Triumph Daytona 675 sports bike, and its creator hopes it will improve bike design, rider training and ultimately save lives.

Dave Shenton, IAM Motorcycling Manager, said: “The Motorcycle and Scooter Show looks set to be a brilliant event this year. We will be showcasing our advanced driver training programme, Skill for Life, and discussing our latest research findings and views on current road safety issues.”

The IAM’s Skill for Life package is available through a network of groups nationwide and gives you everything you need to prepare for, and take, your advanced motorcycling test. As well as making you a safer and more polished rider, the IAM course can lead to significant membership benefits, including insurance discounts.
