Toseland to meet fans at Donington Park Bike Night
Despite speculation regarding James Toseland’s motorcycle racing future in 2010, the Yorkshireman has confirmed that he will make an appearance at Donington Park’s final bike night of the year to meet fans. The free of charge event kicks off at 6pm on Tuesday 22 September and more than 300 motorcyclists are expected to gather at Donington Park’s Grand Prix Museum Café. The monthly biker meeting started in June this year and hundreds of motorcyclists have attended to show their support to the Leicestershire parkland circuit.
Other motorcycling stars who have previously attended the event, which has attracted support from motorcycle manufacturers including Ducati and Norton, include local hero Leon Haslam. However, with winter drawing ever nearer and the nights beginning to close in, Tuesday’s event will be the last one of this year.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet two of the 2009 Bennetts Babes. As personal sponsor of Toseland, the specialist motorcycle insurance provider is sending two of the girls from this year’s Bennetts Babes squad to accompany him as he meets riders at the Leicestershire parkland circuit’s event.
Free entrance to the Grand Prix museum is also available, while those preferring to get a slice of the action can have a go at two or four-wheel racing in one of the top-of-the-range simulators. The café is open to supply refreshments throughout and all visitors will be eligible for a free to enter competition for 2010 motorcycle racing event tickets.
