3 welcomes the EU’s push to reduce wholesale costs to a more reasonable level as this will mean we can then pass these reductions onto our customers.

3 has led the way in reducing roaming charges for customers with the launch of 3 Like Home earlier this year, throwing down the gauntlet to other operators. When our customers travel abroad and use other 3 Group networks they are charged as if they were on their home network, meaning they can use their existing talk and text bundles and are also no longer charged for receiving calls or texts. The small concession from Vodafone does not match the deal being offered to all 3 customers. We just regret that the charges levied by our roaming partners mean we can only offer this pricing model in certain countries such as Australia and Italy at present.
